How We Onboard Your Young Performer

At Sandra Reynolds, we’re proud to represent some of the most talented young performers in the UK.
Part of setting them up for success means getting them onto Spotlight - the industry’s most recognised casting platform for actors, models, and performers.
We know the process can sound a little formal if you’ve never been through it before, so here’s a simple breakdown of how we onboard your child to Spotlight and what you, as a parent or guardian, need to know.
What is Spotlight and why does my child need it?
Spotlight is where casting directors, producers, and advertisers go when they’re looking for talent. By being on Spotlight, your child’s profile is directly visible to industry professionals - but unlike adult performers, all access for under 18s is handled through their agent. This ensures that everything is safe, professional, and appropriate for young talent.
The first step: our invitation to you
Once your child has joined Sandra Reynolds as a Young Performer, we’ll send you a Spotlight invitation email. This will contain a link to the private application page for young performers (not available publicly).
You’ll receive this email directly from us and it will include:

Your name and your child’s name pre-filled into the template.

A link to the Spotlight application form.
What you need to do:
Click the link, complete the application online, and submit it directly to Spotlight.
Within just a few days, your child’s profile will go live, and we’ll automatically be linked as their representing agent.
A few important points to remember

Parents & guardians: You don’t have direct access to castings on Spotlight - everything is sent to us first so we can manage your child’s career in a professional and age-appropriate way.

If your child has been on Spotlight before, we won’t create a brand-new profile. We’ll simply reactivate their existing membership, keeping all their credits and details intact.
Reactivating a previous membership
If your child has previously been on Spotlight, the process is even quicker.

You (or we) simply let Spotlight know your child has new representation.

Spotlight will reactivate the existing profile rather than starting from scratch.

You’ll be back up and running in no time.
